The sexual division of labor among human foraging populations has typically been recognized as involving males as hunters and females as gatherers. Recent archeological research has questioned this paradigm with evidence that females hunted (and went to war) throughout the Homo sapiens lineage, though many of these authors...

If your beliefs include denying service to people based on stupid reasons like sexual orientation or race, then you best believe other people's rights supercede yours. You can't have a country of rights without mutual respect, and that means everyone gets equal access to businesses and society.
Wait: isn't this that manufactured process with the fake victims created by the creeps from ADF only to gain some more court discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community?
Domestic violence is already seriously under-prosecuted and victims given little protection at all. It's seen somehow as less important than other forms of violence, while I would say that this should be the opposite.
No one with a history of violence should be allowed to own a gun, but especially someone with a history of domestic violence, as that tends to be a pattern and not a one-off incident.

"If you run a company based on the goodwill of millions of volunteer users, contributors, and moderators, one of your top priorities should probably be to focus on making them happy."
This is one of the things I find most frustrating about this situation. Okay, the company isn't profitable - who's fault is that? It's the job of the CEO to make it profitable, which makes it spez's responsibility. And he's spent a good seven-ish years just drifting along, without a good or even coherent vision for what reddit looks like - it has crypto-backed coins that it'll reward contributors for! you can follow people instead of interests! look at this cool RPAN thing we made! hey, let's spend a bunch of money on a single day event (April Fool's)! oh, I know what our users really want - customizable snoovatars, we'll make a fortune on the NFT's! There's probably at least a dozen more I'm forgetting as well.
Every single business "reinvention idea" of the past seven years has been authorized by spez. He's the one who's been steering reddit these past few years, he's the one who's supposed to know the company and it's core assets, steer it into a future. And instead he's been pushing it around randomly with a paddle boat, footing the entire bill for AI to suck the value from the site, and undermining people and tools that provide actual value at minimal cost.
He's going to get fired, either before or after the IPO, and after his dismal performance at reddit no one is going to ever hire him again, especially for a job as lucrative and easy as he made this one.
TIL that a parrot named Willie alerted its owner, Megan Howard, when a toddler began to choke. Willie began screaming "mama, baby" while flapping its wings as the child turned blue, saving the girls life. (www.telegraph.co.uk)
