Narrrz

@Narrrz@kbin.social

You already know who i am.

Narrrz,

it took me a long time to realise that just because it has the word liberty (almost) in it, doesn't mean it's a left-wing idea.

Narrrz,

I think you said the unspoken part out loud.

Narrrz,

indeed, I think even the top transfem olympian did not rate compared to the top 'natural' (I use that word only to distinguish, not to disparage) women.

Narrrz,

they only did that for the painting.

Narrrz,

pay some prostitutes to come to your thanksgiving dinner and debate your uncle on his ideas about immigrants.

Narrrz,

sounds great. what exactly will you be paying me to do?

How thr fuck do I force/ lobby my local council to implement acceptable public transport into my town

I live in the UK and my town has not got transport that allows mobility for all. No bike lanes (and if they exist they’re just painted on the road), no bus lanes (buses get stuck in the same rush hour traffic and everyone else which doesn’t incentivise people to take them) and these buses are also unreliable and infrequent....

Narrrz,

step 1: give them money.
step 2: make them think you'll give them more money. this may involve repeating step 1 several times.
step 3: let them know that if you don't get what you want, the money stops.

then it's just a matter of whether the money you were giving them is significant enough to make them care.

Narrrz,

borderlands has entered the chat

Narrrz,

satisfactorily optimal.

Narrrz,

I'm just sad that plasma weapons are essentially a no-go in an atmospheric environment...

Narrrz,

actually, I think you'll find, Argentina falls within BRITISH seas, extending outward from the shores of the Falklands.

Narrrz, (edited )

I'll agree he should be allowed to say it when people who say shit like this get held accountable and suffer consequences.

so, in essence, i disagree.

Narrrz,

high intelligence is a strong predictor of mental illness, of which this is an unfortunate example.

Narrrz,

will, that clears that right up!

Narrrz,

hmm, interesting! it's been considered "common wisdom" since I was in university, always intriguing to have these unquestioned misconceptions corrected.

What item have you been using on a daily basis for the longest amount of time?

Sometimes I will use something and realize I’ve owned it forever. It’s a nice change in our throwaway reality. I think my personal record is a bicycle multi-tool I got for one of my first bikes, ~25 years ago. Still have it, still use it. When it comes to electronic devices I have a Panasonic mini Hi-Fi from ~2005. Never...

Narrrz,

a stainless steel, vacuum sealed French press (coffee plunger), which I bought back in... 2011? i think? when I broke my glass one a week after getting it.

Narrrz,

they've probably earned him more than a couple of dollars, too, just from people wanting to read the source material.

and I doubt there would have been a Netflix series without the games.

Narrrz,

one always lies, one tells the truth, one stabs people who ask tricky questions

Narrrz,

unfortunately, I entirely lack imagination. happily, however, this is not a case where one is needed.

Narrrz,

some republicans are good people in the same way some cops are good cops.

... ARAC

Narrrz,

you got the last letter of the C-word right, but it's one letter too short.

Narrrz,

some republicans are good people not awful to literally everyone
