Noirezcent,

Which gives me an idea for the opposite conspiracy theory: Reddit didn't raise API pricing that much to kill 3rd parties, they lifted it because the admins realized how instrumental they are in spreading disinformation from unfriendly governments, and could actually get them to pay.

Noirezcent,

I hear it'll be on gamepass day 1, might finally try that out myself.

Noirezcent,

Yeah. Most likely I'll only use reddit for product/game reviews in the future., if I can't figure out a better place.

Noirezcent,

Yeah, but did you know Steve Buscemi was a firefighter on 9/11?

Noirezcent,

There are avatars here, and I kind of like that. Makes it slightly easier to tell at a glance who's who in a discussion. I do agree though.

Noirezcent,

Yeah, personally I was particularly happy seeing Bay12 forums still exist, have a lot of fond memories from over there. A bit sad to see StumbleUpon doesn't exist anymore though.

Noirezcent,

Yeah, it's a bit strange, but to me the feeling is very similar to being on a deck of a ship, sailing to start a life in a new country.

Noirezcent,

Your typo kind of answers your own question.

Noirezcent,

I found this place when I saw the subreddit helping with the migration was banned. Probably wouldn't have heard of the place otherwise.

Noirezcent,

I'm kind of mixed on this one. I enjoy CS:GO, for example, because (most of the time) when you die it's because you've made a mistake or got outplayed. Same with something like Hotline: Miami. With the first one, it usually feels fair, and on the second the instant respawns with short levels make it less of an issue.

In games with less action, Dotalikes or Battle Royales for example I do agree. It doesn't feel fun to run around for fifteen minutes doing basically nothing, just to get destroyed with no counterplay. While it's still skill-based, the downtime-to-action ratio is just too large for me to enjoy.

Noirezcent,

I mean one of the larger reddit admin dramas was firing the AMA coordinator way back.
