Im sure you've all seen the new loudout mechanics in cs2, what guns are you going with?
Im looking forward to the chance to take both the m4s, but as for the rest of them I'm really not sure...
I think the rifle category will be a consistent lock w m4s, awp, and then two between Aug, FAMAS, and scout on CT and AK, AWP, scout, galil, then SG on T.
The middle category is gonna be super interesting. Only thing I know I'm bringing is UMP and MP9/Mac10.
Pistols are just p250, tec/5-7, CZ, deagle, dualies for me.
Yeah I'm definitely not bringing AWP, pretty tired of never having money due to saving/dropping for the shitty baiter who whiffs his one shot on 3 people with their backs turned and then dies. Can't wait for the rage and seethe. I'll only be bringing AWP when queueing with my friend who mainly AWPs
I have a feeling we are going to see a handful of new guns come to the game at some point. Makes the new loadout system make more sense imo.
Im pretty excited for loadouts personally. It definitely adds another layer of strategy for stacks, you can essentially have access to every gun if you coordinate well enough

T rifle is hard to balance, becauae the core gameplay balance revolves around T having the superior, cheaper rifle.
At the beginning of every round CT has the advantage. If nothing happens and time runs out, they win. To counter this T have the AK.
An additional rifle would have to be as good as the AK, without being better. It would be tough.
I would love to see something like a FAL, basically a bigger deagle in rifle form. 20-round magazine, semi-automatic, three hit kill to the body and one-shot headshots.
The only one I've really thought about is CT rifles, because that's the only one I feel like I'll need to make a sacrifice over what I normally use. I would like to bring a FAMAS, M4A1S, M4A4, AUG, Scout, and AWP to have a full range of equipment depending on economy and what site I want to cover, but I think I'll have to drop the FAMAS in favor of an SMG.
In my opinion, I'd like to see a sixth weapon per category added, but at least we can bring in multiple guns that were formerly replacements, which might lead to increased use.
Tbh to me having the FAMAS brings more utility than having all three of M4A1S/M4A4/AUG. I'm not a huge fan of the FAMAS, but I feel like it definitely has a range advantage over SMG's.
I’m trying to decide if dropping the AWP to have both M4’s is reasonable. I don’t play AWP and it’s pretty rare I have to drop one but it feels wrong to not have it
We exclusively play 5 stack and we had an interesting discussion about who's going to drop what.
We have a couple of guys who never AWP, some who play it opportunisticly, and some who play it religiously.
One of the guys who never plays it is a shotgun specialist and often has lots of cash so he's going to keep it for drops.
I play it sometimes, ill probably keep it and drop the scout. I use the scout, but its easier for someone to drop.
Its going to take some tweaking, but im excited to try it out.
I think the biggest change will be that having both M4s and CZ/Tec-9/Five-Seven will be common-place. On CT-side that will probably mean dropping the AUG. I would sometimes pick it up when holding mid on mirage, so it will be a noted loss.
For pistols I expect to be leaving out the r8 and dualies on both sides. I'm looking forward to having both the cz and five-seven/tec available at the same time.
For mid-tier the mp9 and mac-10 are basically the only ones that matter lol. I'll probably carry the ump and shotties in my other slots but rarely use them.
For rifles I'll probably take m4a1-s, aug, famas, scout, awp on CT. I think the aug and m4a4 are a bit redundant and I'm an aug enjoyer sometimes. For T side there's not much to even think about. It comes down to omitting either the krieg or the auto. I can't remember the last time I used either, but if I have to pick one I guess I'll take the auto.
The lack of options for T side rifles makes me think we will be getting something new soon.
That being said, I feel like this new loadout system is too restrictive. Using dumb strats like PP-Bizon rushes or 5-man auto snipers is fun sometimes but that probably won't happen when half the team don't have these weapons in their loadout. So far it's the only change in CS2 I'm not on board with :/
