I can't remember the exact time frame, but my neighbor had stopped by for a while then called later that night to say he tested positive for covid. This was back when Delta variant was the most rampant. A few days later (i want to say 3 or 4), I was sneezing like crazy (I thought my allergy sneezing was bad! Oh no! This was 10x worse!) running a fever, vomiting, and coughing. Nothing tasted or smelled right. About all I could stomach was blue Gatorade and fries.
I absolutely agree! I hate video walk through with a passion. I miss the days of finding a text guide, printing the part I'm stuck on, and going back to my game instead of having to wade through a ton of junk.
Yesterday i had a pain in the foot for no reason, walking was highly suffering, then the pain disappeared suddenly and i never understood where it came from.
Under the new bill, Florida could have roads made of phosphogypsum, a material known by the EPA to contain a "potentially cancer-causing, radioactive gas," that's the second-leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S.
I was curious about the Tabasco one. I saw it last week, but wasn't sure about it so I passed it up. I'll have to grab a bottle when I head back to the store
My wife and I lead a pretty simple life. I work from home at a low-stress job. She is a stay-at-home mom. We have a small house, a garden, and some chickens. But we have a 3-month-old and a two-year-old. Nothing about our life feels slow or simple. On top of watching the kids there's always tons cleaning to do and house repairs...
Edit: also a very old and very obscure PC game called AMBER: Journeys Beyond. Basically, you had to go check on your collegue and do some ghost hunting and puzzle solving to save her
I'm curious what everyone uses as background noise while crocheting. I've found the only thing I like watching while crocheting is cartoons for some reason, like Bob's Burgers. I know some people watch movies, or listen to audio books but would love to hear some suggestions and get to know everyone.
If it's a pattern with lots of repeats and easy to follow, I'll put on some urbex videos or a movie I've seen lots of times. This way, I still have background noise and extra visual stimuli while being able to focus on my project. Otherwise, I listen to what video game or movie/youtube my husband is playing
The reddit blackout is even more effectivte than expected! 5177/8829 (~60%) of subreddits are still dark [1] and the posts per minute are down to 1000 from 1400 [2]....
It felt really good to delete my reddit account. I hadn't logged in or posted in months, and just lurked for a while. I was amazed at how toxic it had become. Reddit angries up the blood! (to paraphrase Grampa Simpson)
For me its when someone tells me to bring them something. If i try to find something that i need, i will find it really quickly. If someone is asking me to find something for them in a room, it is like i become blind and even if its in front of me, it is really hard to find it.
For me, it's a tie between having no object permanence and waiting mode. My lack of object permanence really shows in my kitchen, because I will keep everything I commonly use on the counter. If Idon't, I forget I have it. Waiting mode really speaks for itself. If I have an appointment, I can't do anything else til I'm done with it. I'm also compulsively early to every appointment because of how angry my parents would get if we were even a minute late to anything.
2023 is shaping up to be one of the best years for gaming in ages. From Tears of the Kingdom to Diablo IV to Street Fighter 6, it's already been a pretty great year, with quite a few big-budget releases coming later this year...
I'm waiting for the remaster of Silent Hill 2 and the Bioshock 4 that was supposedly in development at one point. I'd love to see Dishonored and Dishonored 2 released for Nintendo Switch
I know 3DS had Super Scribblenauts, which needed spelling, logic, parts of speech, and creativity. I'm not sure if there is an equal for the Switch. Animal Crossing would be a good start, as would the remaster of Link's Awakening
Lemmings who know where/when they contracted COVID, how long after your exposure did you become symptomatic?
Still haven’t had it, but had a close contact a few days ago, so I’m just curious.

This is completely strange, and very long. I’ve exhausted all my ideas, and need fresh ones....

If you were given a choice between a fancy boat or a fancy car, which would you pick? You can't sell either.

How to live simply with kids?

You get to play one videogame for the first time again. What you picking?
Okay. If you could play any videogame again for the first time, what would it be?

What foods do you enjoy because of the texture rather than flavour?
I love anything squishy like a marshmallow, chalky like musk pencils, or really gummy chewy like Haribo gummy bears.
What is the most annoying ADHD trait that you have?

Did you reuse your Reddit name or create a new one?
I originally went with the same name but have been using this one now since it's new and the idea of starting fresh appeals to me....

Looking for switch games that make you think
Ideally, I'd like a game that would be good for logical thinking and appropriate for an 8 year old for a few years? Any ideas?
