For me, it's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990). I was a huge TMNT fan, and I wrecked that tape by watching it so many times.

QEMU v8.1.0-rc4 (www.qemu.org)

EmuCR: QEMUQEMU v8.1.0-rc4 is released. QEMU is a generic and open source machine emulator and virtualizer. When used as a machine emulator, QEMU can run OSes and programs made for one machine (e.g. an ARM board) on a different machine (e.g. your own PC). By using dynamic translation, it achieves very good performances. When used...

Every time I've tried to run the Windows version of QEMU on my PC, it hasn't really worked. That's down user error, I'm certain; but I wish there was a better GUI version available.

I wonder what this means for Sega now. I hope it's not predicting a pivot to mobile-first.

Exactly. People need to vote with their wallets and PCs.

Cool. Now I really want to play Smite. If only it were available without DRM.

My parents rly fed me games like Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper growing up just to wonder why I'm a leftist now lol

@CyberCatBytes I guess we're in similar situations, but I had influences that drove me the other way. The ones I can think of right now: Wolfenstein, Commander Keen, Doom, Transport Tycoon Deluxe, SimCity, Populous, and Battletech. Oh, and of course Shadow President. Most of the games I played didn't have a specific political outlook; it's just the way that success was gained, and recognizing how that's applied in the real world.

FF2 and the Legend / SaGa games are some of my favorite RPGs. I'm kind of glad they couldn't stay in the main line.

Slightly confusing, but somehow true.

@lowqualityfacts You have it backwards. It means you are descendant of Genghis Khan, or that he is one of your ancestors.

Never could quite trust paid emulators. It feels like line-crossing.

I've thought for a while that something was funny with LTT, because all the stuff they talked about which i knew about, I could find issues that ran from small nitpicks to major problems.

If that's what he wants, I'm glad to stay on my PC that I own.

HW News - Linus Tech Tips' Terrible Response (www.youtube.com)

From the video description: In HW News this week, we start with a discussion about Linus Sebastian's recent reply to our commentary about Linus Tech Tips' issues with accuracy, data, corrections, ethics, and conflicts. We are baffled and disappointed by the hastily, angrily-written, and at times inaccurate statement posted.

I don't really feel that reviewers are required to follow up on changes, in any medium. I like the idea of a one-and-done review with the idea of "maybe this can be fixed", and leaving it to others who aren't predisposed against the item.

The "corpo drones" in this case are people willing to follow the directions from Reddit/Advance Media, but not get paid.

I look forward to AI taking over writing movies.

This is an awesome piece of software from great people. They've been quietly releasing weekly updates for years. As an HLE tool, it's getting really good. I do wonder how the frame rate on Bully is now.

I have so many shows I need to catch up on that I could never run out of "new-to-me" media. But there's some I could suggest:

  • Perry Mason
  • Mission: Impossible!
  • Star Trek (including all sequel series)

It's always fun seeing the weird courses the game can take in terms of teamups, huh?

I'm totally not up for setting up and maintaining it, but it would be great to have a sticky thread for forming and finding RP groups. It would probably lean more towards online groups but could work for local ones too, in time if the magazing gathers enough subscribers.
I hope someone with enough social skills and patience can take up that challenge here on m/RPG.

@CynAq I've tried using various table finders, but outside of Meetup, no luck.
