The GOP package, called the “Lowering Education Costs and Debt Act,” consists of five bills that the senators say will address the root causes of the student debt issue such as the increasing price of college and students taking out loans they can’t afford.
The fourth bill gave me 'no child left behind' vibes. I feel like it would go exactly the same way to cut funding to smaller schools and/or prevent the development of new academic institutions.
The concept of a fast food chili dog has been baffling me for the last few days. Are there really people that roll up to Sonic, order a chili dog and just slurp that thing down while driving back to their desk job? Do these psychopaths just keep a change of clothes in their car at all times, or do they wake up and think, “Oh...
How is the restaurant culture around getting tap water? I know the stereotype of at least Germany is that they want you to purchase bottled water, just wondering if this is the same in other places or if there are other seemly interesting cultures around our favorite beverage.
As more clearly dedicated hunters trickle into our slice of the fediverse, let's take the opportunity this smaller community gives us to share how Monster Hunter found us.
I purchased a pc for the first time in 2020, being mostly a console gamer before then. I went with a 5700xt gpu, that was bundled with a resident evil remake and MH world:Iceborne. I initially tried to play it solo, but got overwhelmed and stopped for a bit. Later my friends got interested and we started playing together, which really helped overcome the initial learning curve.
Eventually my friends slowly stopped playing it due to the horrible story mode multi-player experience until there was only two of us playing. We played though the dlc and ended a few missions from the end. I still haven't completed it yet as i want to complete it with my friend only.
When rise was announced, i waited until it released on pc to get it, and then i bought generations for the switch.
Bow main in world, gunlance in rise, and great sword in generations.
We recently got a switch and love it! I've been sent back to my childhood and get to enjoy playing with my kids now. We've been playing the following. Looking to see what else might be out there too....
Looking into getting my first mechanical keyboard and want to dip my toes in the pool. Just wanted your guys perspective. I might swap the switches for some gaterons since they are hotswappable.
Thanks for the info! Yea i have been mech-curious for a while and just recently heard about them and liked the price point. Just need to take the plunge, here we go!

My spouse and I always have water bottles on hand since we live in warm climate. However, we forget that when we travel that this isn't the norm and have to explain to people why we do. Anyone else experience this?
A coke?! Haha people think that our water bottles are some type of emotional support blanket, when in reality its just a habit and we are just trying to keep up our hydration. Cant be caught slipping.
For me, I love going back to the Season 2 opener. It starts out strong with no one, not even Fry, recognizing the name Titanic. It's got robot software humor, Zapp, a parody of a famous movie, and so much more.
OC Makes sense.

OC So where is everyone riding this weekend?
I made the most of the cool weather here in the Bay Area to grab a gentle coffee ride. Just over 6 miles of pleasant riding to keep me sane.
