The Lord of Snoo is locked to the IPO, hopefully the IPO will fail and the board of the Snoo Platform, Inc. fired him.

Yeah, because he is the Lord of Snoo.

Given that many of recent fediverse newcomers are redditors, it's inevitable that they want something similar to the Snoo Platform.

Any ban should be transparent to the users.

Vulcan was a victim of the Snoo Shadowbans, apparently due to usage of VPN services.

Anyone else enjoying the Internet better, now that they’re off Reddit?

Hadn’t realized how reliant upon Reddit I’d become for news and interesting things until after it turned to shit and I quit it. I’ve rediscovered RSS for ex., using reader apps to scan sources directly and read without all the noise—that actually came from someone’s recommendation here in the comments. I’ve found...

Is Kbin lemmy? I’m so confused!

Kbin is the first Reddit alternative I looked at and i liked the UI so I stuck with it. I kind of assumed everything would be kbin. I thought I understood things. Reporting from the Realm of Fediverse, it's nice to see an Arknights community here.

Currently, still playing a lot of ahahaha

Question for subreddit moderators

I'm pretty happy with the experience on Lemmy so far as I joined even before the blackouts started happening. The trigger was the dumpster fire of an AMA with the CEO. I tried kbin first because it's supposed to be newer and more interoperable with other federated platforms but I found the instance I was on wouldn't properly...

Paging from kbin, but this should apply for Lemmy as well.

Vulcan is still moderating a country subreddit (due to the traffic) but in a reduced priority, but keep the smaller niche subreddits (that mainly moderated alone) in the private.
