A couple of years back I saw some napkin math claiming e-bikes has a lower CO-2 impact than normal bikes or walking since power plants and motors are more effective than your body at energy conversion. Couldn't find the same source (and it was in my language anyways) but did find this (with a ton of other sites claiming similar things when searching)
Not a single act, but a series of actions. The rovers power down during Martian nights, right? So, during these periods, you could rearrange the rocks nearby. At first, NASA might not even pick up on the changes, but eventually, someone's bound to notice.
Imagine the buzz it would create! The scientists studying the photographs sent back by the rovers would be left scratching their heads. They'd probably first suspect some unknown natural phenomena, or even the rovers themselves, until the changes became too orchestrated to explain away. It would be a cosmic puzzle, a Martian mystery that would have them combing through data for answers.
No extraordinary or unnatural objects, just ordinary Martian rocks moved around. Instead of presenting them with an object that screams 'alien intervention,' you'd be nudging them into a mystery, all with the Martian surface's naturally occurring elements.
I had a similar experience until I stumbled upon the subreddit some time ago. Discovering it was a strange mix of liberation and validation. I finally understood that this concept I'd been attempting to articulate to friends and family, only to be met with questioning looks as if they were asking, "Are you okay?", was indeed a genuine thing.
For those who are unaware: A couple billionaires, a pilot, and one of the billionaires' son are currently stuck inside an extremely tiny sub a couple thousand meters under the sea (inside of the sub with the guys above)....
Can’t respond with any studies but based on my own experience (and failings), it often begins with a feeling of, "What else have they lied about?" This usually occurs after one starts questioning 'the system'. At the same time, seeing entities like Russia/China/etc. as the only forces combating whatever represents "the system" for them can contribute to this mindset.
Using the vague “the system” since this pattern of thought isn't exclusive to any one group, such as tankies, but rather is a more widespread phenomenon.
I don’t mean to discount your point but I think a more relevant statistic would be for people in game development since it’s mostly creators, not consumers on scene.
With that said, I don’t think the ratio will be that different for developers and gamers, so maybe this was a pointless comment :D

Ja, du behöver inte ha med dig körkort om din identitet kan fastställas vid en körkort-kontroll på annat sätt än, t.ex. genom foto-legitimation vilket detta bör liknas med.
I just went to a half dozen repair shops for my iPod screen repair. Not a single one does iPod repair anymore? Why the hell did all of you pay for SEO optimization to be placed on Google for "iPod Repair" and some even allow it as an option for the appointment. Waste of time. Guess I will be ordering replacement parts along with a second iPod I will modify to be a slim iPod with a bigger battery and flash memory. #Righttorepair#Apple#iPod
I can't point to any specific places near you, but in every town I've lived, there's usually one of those old-school shops that used to mod Xboxes still standing. I'd suggest seeking out such a place, you might just get lucky there
I'm using Safari
It looks good, feels fast (although I haven't done much comparison). But tab-groups connected to focus mode really seals the deal for me.
The one thing I do wish for is more extensions, but most of the key ones I need are fortunately available.
Just watched 'Joan is Awful' yesterday - it's good! Looking forward to binging the rest this weekend.
Haven't figured out how spoiler tags work, so I'll keep it superficial: It's got that classic Black Mirror vibe, set in a near-future world that felt eerily familiar. The theme and storyline kept me engaged throughout the whole episode.

I’m located in Sweden and used to be one of the mods for /r/Skyrim about a decade ago 🫣, I could absolutely help out with moderating but not very much else, no custom CSS-support or similar to bring to the table.
Instead I’m here, probably everyday, and can help keep the place friendly and on topic!
Hello friends. Shortly before I made the move to iPhone back in the beginning, I had a short stint with Blackberry as my device. One thing I LOVED that the Blackberry did, was Profiles (at least I think that's what it was called). It was a one button push to a menu where I could decide which profile I was using. This "profile"...
I don’t have an exact answer for you nor will it help you with automating it fully but using this setting I can to the “Audio and haptics menu” in Settings.
It’s late here but dig into how they get there and do the same, then at least you’ll get to the right menu when activating it. Not great, not terrible
Can't wait for interactive widgets! I run a widget-only Home Screen and more interaction would be great - even just simple stuff like turning on a lamp.
Also looking forward to StandBy. Since my phone is always in its dock on my desk, having something useful displayed instead of just my background and the time is going to be pretty nice

If you could place any object on the surface of Mars, purely to confuse NASA scientists, what would it be?
For me i would just place like random paintings, like NASA would be very confused on why Mars would have paintings lmao.
