jonathanwicked,

A gaming chair will be bad quality and uncomfortable for MOST people.

Your best bet will be a high-end adjustable office chair, such as Herman Miller. These chairs are very expensive, but consider how much you're sitting (easily 8h+ a day if you work from home and are a gamer) and the amazing warranty (12 years+). I stopped trying to save money on chairs and mattresses and all my little pains went away.

However, to make the most of it you have to try them to find the best one for your body. A good store will help you find the best chair for you and adjust it to fit you perfectly.

jonathanwicked,

Getting into the beef early on ofc

jonathanwicked,

Thanks! The last point especially is what I’m planning to do. Also hitting up the local community and seeing if they’d accept someone starting late.

jonathanwicked,

This is great!

jonathanwicked,

Thanks for all your extra comments! I started playing 2k in the meantime, got the nba app and started watching highlights. Lots of fun.

Also great training tips

jonathanwicked,

You could try vinegar which is a great ios safari extension for YouTube in the browser if that’s good enough

jonathanwicked,

I believe people moved to Ukraine and Turkey after the Argentina changes

Artemis private beta rollouts have begun!

Hi there, the Artemis private beta rollout has just started! @hariette will be emailing 50 signup sheet users, while @lilkev will be adding 50 users from Artemis Discord. The order will be based on the submissions to the private beta signup form, as well as general activity within the Artemis community....

jonathanwicked,

Nice! Kbin in iOS Safari is so buggy for me, can’t wait to try the upcoming apps.

jonathanwicked,

Weather.app gets some deserved criticism from the community, but I hope Apple continues to improve the app and win back some fans. It’s a pretty app imo and works fine in my area.

Report: Apple working on new external display for Macs that can double as a smart home display in low-power mode (9to5mac.com)

Between this and the iOS 17 standby feature, it seems like Apple likes the idea of displays showing information instead of just being black. Not really sure why they wouldn’t just make this a macOS feature though, dumb to limit this to some sort of smart monitor instead of just using the computer it is connected to.

jonathanwicked,

Could also be a cool feature for AppleTV, using the TV as an info hub.

jonathanwicked,

Yes it stopped working for me a few hours ago.
