I'm disgusted with some people's reaction to alert messages. They have a close reflex, they don't even know what they closed. Sometimes I'm trying to help someone and a message appears, while I'm trying to focus my sight they have already closed the message.

All my lectures are online and prerecorded, meaning my screen time is regularly above 8-9 hours, and I am getting a feeling that my eyes are suffering, what do you guys to do to minimize degradation?
Maybe a bit too obvious to be saying it but just in case, I always have my screen on the lowest brightness I can get used to. In fact I don't like my screen too much now because it is at the minimum but I'd like it lower.
Was it conscious or did it just happen? There has been times I've been putting off something for months, and someday find myself in the middle of doing it simply because I didn't put any thought into doing it.
Very important has to be the thing that I'm doing so that I have to open a browser without ad-block. For most things the close tab button brings me more peace of mind.
On my old phone I had an issue with the proximity sensor and front facing camera. This led me to holding my phone backwards to take photos and being unable to hang up phone calls....
I'm not sure what it is but I've gotten no warnings when oil levels were dangerous, I only noticed because I checked the oil stick. Anyway the temperature gauge seems to be working and I keep an eye on it as much or more than the fuel.
