Rumors have it that Avowed will show up in the Xbox conference. I'm really excited to finally see some gameplay for it after a looong time of radio silence.
I remember playing Destiny 1 and being so underwhelmed. I picked up Destiny 2 with my friends after it went f2p and it's honestly gotten so much better. Crazy that it's been 10 years now.
My bet is that they're going to allow other people from the fediverse to post on it but won't allow instagram users to see other instances. Wouldn't want your customers getting off the official servers now.
Not that I doubt AI spending will go way up in the coming years, but I doubt extrapolating data 10 years forward is very accurate. We don't even know how the market will be two years from now with how quickly everything is moving in the AI space.
Ever since the new console generation, yup. Companies are dumping import fees & taxes on consumers. The Demon's Souls Remake was 80 euros on release, which is pretty insane.
I never needed a big reason to not buy games on release anyways, they'll likely go down to 20 euros one year later.
Never understood the hate for weapons breaking. You practically get showered with weapons and in ToTK you have a slew of weapon parts you can use to very quickly make another good weapon. If weapons never broke then you'd use the same one throughout the entire game and never be encouraged to try something new.
Sounds like an average patch in Dwarf Fortress. My favorite is "Stopped cats from randomly dying of alcohol overdose". The dev talked about it in the intro for this interview
I found better deals over in the laptops for GPUs.
Even that isn't a good deal. Laptop GPUs are a lot weaker than their desktop counterparts, the 4070 (laptop edition) is LITERALLY a 4060 desktop edition. They're misleading consumers into buying something worse than they're expecting, and the prices are still outrageous for the new generation.
Fingers crossed they don't overcomplicate the story. I didn't really enjoy how crazy the story was in MK11, I miss the idea of just a tournament where people fight to save the world, not engage in weird multiverse time travel shenanigans.
When you say 'communicate', does that mean posts here will be visible on Lemmy and vice-versa?
Yup! I saw your post from Kbin.
Would you think, then, that Lemmy will have more users than kbin due to the simplicity? Does it even matter?
Yes, Lemmy is the more popular option currently. No, it doesn't really matter that much. Feel free to stick to Lemmy or try https://kbin.social/ , but the content is pretty much the same.
