Dragon Age Origins. It’s getting long in the tooth and harder and harder to play on PC, plus you can’t play it on any of the last two PS consoles.

Elon insists everyone stop WFH and come physically into the office, but then doesn’t pay rent and there’s no office to go into. Flawless logic.

I think you have to click on the “keep me logged in” option BEFORE you enter in all your login info. When I did it that way, it kept me logged in.

I’m less sad and more frustrated. I think it’s because I only just really got into using Reddit…And that’s because Twitter got muskified. I’d been trying to find something to fill that same spot for me that Twitter had - I was using Hive, tumblr, mastodon, and Reddit, and Reddit and Mastodon has turned into the ones I kept coming back to and using all the time. I was not quite to the place where I would have came myself a Redditor, but I was close. Another maybe month or two, and I probably would have been there. It feels like a place I was finally starting to get my feet under me at suddenly got pulled out from under me, and this soon after Twitter is just frustrating as all else.

What is your favorite Mastodon client?

Hey everyone, super excited to be exploring the fediverse both here on kbin and elsewhere. Looking for a Mastodon client primarily for iOS, great to see the main app is open-source, but there seems to be quite a few options out there. Feel free to share non-iOS clients for others' benefit as well....

How can we smooth out the migration and help promote kbin/lemmy to subreddits and redditors?

I think the biggest thing we need to figure out is how to make it sound easier than people say it is. People get too hung up on the technicalities of how the fediverse works, and they never try it out and see that it isn't as confusing as it sounds. If we could write up a simple blurb to help promote kbin to subreddit moderators...

One thing that will help is maybe providing links to popular kbin AND Lemmy magazines/communities. It’s one thing to say “You can read Lemmy communities on kbin,” but what does that mean and HOW is going to be a sticking point for anyone new. You need to tell folks HOW to access other ActivityPub sites instead of telling them they can. A walkthrough of some kind would go a long way.

I’m replaying the Mass Effect trilogy. It’s my comfort game.

I’ve also really been enjoying Honkai Star Rail.

I’m giving it a try to see how it goes. I only recently started using Reddit (I had a Reddit account for years but only really got into using Reddit after Elon started mucking up twitter, only for a greedy CEO to start mucking it up, too). Here’s hoping kbin picks up and grows!
