Got one for Christmas and it had been a revolutionary improvement for my pooping life. Now every time I travel or have to poo in public I spend the whole time pouting and thinking wistfully about my bidet at home.
A boob, a butt, or even some violence like one might see on the news anyway, I’m not freaked out about all that and I don’t feel the need to hide it from those around me usually… that’s all fine fine, but I don’t want porn on my feed like at all....
For everything else outside of gore and porn I like browsing with image previews enabled and “all” instead of “subscribed,” and I want to see things that at least on Reddit were forced to be marked as nsfw. Maybe in the Fediverse NSFW is only limited to those things and I can turn it off, which I have, but I do not want to miss content from medium-adult posts just because of my preference to not jerk at all times of day.
That’s what I’ve done now for similar reasons. 15-year-old and girlfriend both likely to get a peak at the page while I’m otherwise innocuously scrolling. Just afraid I’ll miss out on otherwise tame content that has been flagged NSFW out of abundance of caution.
Seriously… there are so many things considered occasionally NSFW. Curse words, nudity, violence, suicide, even on Reddit anything tobacco related. I am personally very tolerant of all content, but I have lines with both gore and porn that I just don’t want the content mixed in with my casual browsing. I wish everyone would just take it to lemmynsfw so I could filter it appropriately, but due to relaxed instance rules even a generally tame instance like kbin.social constantly has new specific groups for me to ban. Just today it has beenfurry cartoon porn, feet, celebs…
Reddit never got this right either, but it seems like such an easy problem to solve. There’s R-rated and there’s porn. Not sure if it’s a result of people being too prude or too loosey goosey, but it seems very obvious to me.
Because there are so many instances and so many communities across those instances that I can’t possibly subscribe to everything I want to see, it’s nice to view “all” while figuring out the groups I want to see. I’d miss a lot if I limited it to “subscribed.”
LibreOffice is preinstalled in Pop OS, and as someone who loves the idea of FOSS I want to use it, but inevitably I just use Google docs or Office Online. Is it really worth learning? Has anyone successfully incorporated it into your workflow?
I used OpenOffice and then LibreOffice all the way through college. However in the past couple years I moved to a combination of Office 365 and VSCode because I used the OneDrive cloud storage which comes at a pretty solid discount.
Well I didn’t really look into it and made an uninformed comment just based on the little I have heard, so I’ll own that I made an ignorant and/or uninformed comment here. Would like to actually see what rule was violated leading to whatever did happen though.
So i'm in a country where cannabis is legal. Back home it is illegal. How big of a risk is it to take something in the luggage (NOT carry-on)? Are those edibles that look like real candy safer?
Did anyone else have a weird experience with math? I could always do it in my head, really fast, get the answer, it's correct... But then I couldn't show my work or prove it, meaning it was useless. I'm curious if this is an ADHD thing? If so, does anyone know why?
This was why I fell off with math in high school and never got my mojo back. My mental math skills were above average but once discipline and showing work and “proofs” (especially proofs) came into play I was out
On Kbin if you go to add something, a link or an article or whatever else, there is an entry field for tags and an entry field for badges. Still no idea what badges are for.
Little messy cause I had to find places for all the sounds stuff to fit that we normally don't have to deal with, but it ended up working out pretty well.
Pretty clean though I’d worry about the mic flopping around on the arm and all non-Arri matteboxes at some point in the day will fill me with irrational rage.
Hahah - was just working with that clip-in Bright Tangerine a week or so ago and it specifically is what has had me raging about all non-LMB matteboxes.
If he does have a monitor it’s a tiny one, it’s hard to tell if that’s the glow from his follow focus or an on-board monitor. Regardless he’s running so fast that he wouldn’t have much time to judge the focus by image, they definitely rehearsed this and I’m sure he had specific marks on his focus ring that he was hitting based on positions in the move as a whole. Very difficult pull. I only pull focus on smaller deals where I complain if somebody is rocking back and forth to much. Literally a week ago almost lost my mind because a guy couldn’t land a sandwich in the same spot within a couple inches from take to take.
This show has been flying entirely under the radar for most people but I love it. For anybody on the 40+ side of age they may remember John Lurie from his jazz act The Lounge Lizards, his IFC show Fishing With John, or his roles in several Jim Jarmusch films....
It seems in the boom of new groups during the blackout a lot of pages were created and abandoned. Since it’s hard to populate any one group here with the current user base I thought it might be useful to just have one tobacco-friendly group. Feel free to come on over and introduce yourself.
YSK: Installing a bidet attachment to your toilet is super easy and probably cleaner than using toilet paper.
Why YSK: It's cleaner, cheaper and more convenient than toilet paper
I definitely think r/gaming has the biggest banger of a privated notice

We need to be able to differentiate between NSFW and porn.

Does anyone actually use LibreOffice?

Is it possible to crosspost in kbin?
I am not sure if this feature is available yet. Could someone help me figure out how to do it if it is possible?
