@thomas Lemmy is a thing, but while it technically works, sadly the communities on there are mostly empty or full of negativity and bad vibes..

@faizalr not really. I think I've tried it once but is had not really matured back then. I should revisit this project. Are there any sexy Android clients out there yet?

I've used Sync with Reddit. They announces to make it compatible to Fediverse alternatives, I guess.. But I'm not sure how the story went on.

@thomas I shamefully admit: I gave up, I am back on reddit. None of the alternatives had the particular communities (NBA, Electric cars) I was looking for, or the communities were dead.

@thomas well popularity aside (compared to masto at least) the amount of Reddit alts is approaching the Twitter alts now (just much younger):

(Plus some I prob forgot)
And if forums count, NodeBB, with discourse coming (?)
