sekenre, 1 year ago @doomsdayrs I can understand that point of view, but I don't think it's solely learned behavior. When interacting with people in public, we are trying to seek others approval. We get a rush from seeing our posts get boosts and favorites. Post scoring systems have been endlessly hacked on to try and encourage thoughtful content but so far I can't think of anywhere that succeeds. I like the meme too, but I feel rewarded for something that took almost zero effort.
