1/ So far, in the last 5 hours I've had a tornado a quarter mile south of my house &just now one a quarter mile north of us
Looking out the windows, it looks like nothing is wrong from the winds, etc, except my 3-year-old blackberry bushes have been yanked up by the roots & are in the middle of our driveway
I there has to be one I hope, just for spite, a tornado or storm, sucks up my old broken-down garbage can that got stolen last week and drops it back in the yard😂
There's been an uptick in building with Insulated concrete forms (ICFs) over wood framing, but I don't see it happening on a very large scale any time soon.
2/ Fire dept welfare checked us. We're on the list because of my mobility, feeding tube, etc.
We have a whole-house generator. Power outages isn't an issue.
If things don't come back on, Penny will setup a table with a microwave, coffee pot and college type fridge on the porch for the neighbors like we always do.
