JS isn't so bad if you are using it to aument HTML, as it was always meant to. i wrote a simple library in like 100LoC and with that especially every useful minimal operation is trivial.
@thomasfuchs never. language doesn't really change like that. the most would be "to search" being popularised, but more likely one still "googles" on alternative search engines.
I freaking hate politics right now. There is no place for views that aren't hard-left or hard-right. There is no desire for dialog. Most people in reality are not perfect ideological stereotypes. But in spite of that, I see more and more of my online acquaintances falling into line with these sterotypes. Being part of the left leaning FOSS community, usually this means presenting as far left revolutionaries. It is resulting in the split of communities and ejection of good faith participants.

i can't wait for #ift5 - elon confirmed a catch attempt will be made. having a steady, 3rd-person perspective will be AMAZING. 🤞they can recover the hot-staging ring aswell.
shame they aren't planning to recover either craft..
overall, a brilliant game. the writing, and particularly voice acting, was amateurish but not a dealbreaker.
puzzles were brilliantly designed and i loved how creative they got with only the 1 portal - but i thought them a little on the easy side, and the connecting segments dragged out.
the achievements were fun too. i had no trouble doing them guideless, though i did check the maps for fingerprinter
patatas bravas for lunch, yesterdays mango cheesecake.
the former was AMAZING (but i put too much chicken stock in the source because i liked the bubbling noise lol)
the latter was fine but the base was too dry for me
watched #starship#ift4 in class. after the flap caught on fire i turned to a friend and said "well that's ship fucked". had to stop myself from screaming when it continued to actuate 😅
