I mean, if ever I needed more persuading that my sub can go away, this is it. (We still have two pre-4K Apple TVs. One is used on my tiny office TV. It works perfectly well with every other service, and so Netflix can go do one.)

Edit: to clarify, HD onwards will work with Netflix. Pre-HD (and pre-tvOS) will not. It’ll be interesting to see how rapidly everyone else does the same. (IIRC, Prime still worked on those old boxes.)

Was in TK Maxx the other day, so obviously I made a beeline for the shoe section to see what monstrosities I could find.

Gopping footwear was sadly thin on the ground this time, but I did find these beauties. Perfect for when you know you’re going to do a runner from your court hearing.

As an aside, I quite like the quality of this little mic. My handling of it, and my breathing into it leave a lot to be desired, as does the amount of reverb in this tin box of a room I'm in. But if set up properly and not swung about by a breathy gorilla it sounds quite nice.

I got it for free from my kid who was supplied it when he started uni as part of his SEN package. He didn't need it, so I nicked it for just in case.
