Yes, it has turned into an autoantonym in relatively modern usage.

Next #Gemini project: make a gemini version of the #KingJamesBible (already been done), but then make a version filtered through my kjvfilter (https://codeberg.org/rldane/scripts/src/branch/main/kjvfilter) sed script to update some of the language. It's a VERY alpha-quality script and is not super-well vetted, but that's half the fun.

I'll call it #kjv

Yeah, yt-dlp has been complaining more lately. I don't recall the exact errors.

Probably just another arms race with YouTube.

Maybe they'll have a new update soon that restores the performance.

I looked at an example or two on wikipedia, but the problem I had was that it was hard to follow when there's only one grouping symbol "(" vs two in C "(" and "{".

I'm guessing that's something that either syntax highlighting helps with, or you just learn to read.

I'm scarcely a professional or even a good coder, but I do love considering the aesthetics of code (although I freely admit that aesthetics should never be the primary consideration of the merit of a language).

Well, you're correct that I was never a full-time programmer, nor did I get terribly far in C.S. studies.

What you might not know is that a small part of why I never became a full-time programmer is that I worked with full-time programmers 😝

I was astounded at the narrowness of their knowledge. They could sit there and chew glass shards of Java for 10 hours a day, but could barely do anything out of the ordinary on their P.C.s.
