@ncommander In the city near my home town there is a castle a lot of people of my region never visited, and it is an important historic place! And then, I spend 5 days in the us and I visited the Statue of Liberty. I think is a sort of "Is there, it never go away, I have stuff to do, I will go there tomorrow...."

@GustavinoBevilacqua @nukkio nella via dove abito c’è un bancomat dove al inizio era fisicamente possibile fare un prelievo drive thru, poi hanno messo dei paletti per non far parcheggiare la gente sul marciapiede.
Ma la gente trova sempre un modo per dimostrare che meritiamo l’estinzione.
Altra situazione, da 20 anni abbiamo una rotatoria con un tabacchino, e dopo anni e multe c’è gente che molla lì la macchina e autisti di camion e autobus che bestemmiano.

There's a thing called pareidolia, where someone sees a pattern or image of something that doesn't really exist, frequently faces.

At first I thought my perception of this building was an example of it, then I realised the face definitely DOES exist.

I mean, the architect even included eyebrows. Come on.

@juc two years ago I got one when my car was to the meccanic.
Is pretty funny in city, but when you go outside the city the 45km/h cap can be an issue, at least for me that I came from a small town and I use the car for a short but not so short route on streets where the speed limit are 70-90km/h.
There's a youtube channel that talk about living with an ami, called Me and Mon Ami https://www.youtube.com/@MeandMonAmi , and is pretty realistic about pros and cons.

Ho ritirato fuori uno di quei mini portatilini con windows ce che giravano una decina o più anni fa. Lo attacco alla corrente e non da segni di vita. Lo apro e il connettore di alimentazione si è disintegrato 😅

La mia dolce metà ha preso un kit per prendere il calco delle manine/piedini dei bimbi. Abbiamo appena provato a fare uno stampo della mano del cucciolo di uomo, messo il gesso, e domani mattina vediamo cosa viene fuori! Nell'illustrazione fanno sembrare che ci sia abbastanza sostanza per due calchi, ma in realtà ne viene fuori uno.

Barattolo con il calco della mano di un bimbo riempito con del gesso.
