You know what! Plugging a Nintendo Wii with an RGB Scart cable into a CRT TV is actually the best way to play this console (I know I know not 480p!).

The CRT TV is very sympathetic to the low resolution nature of the Wii.

I'm having fun reliving some nostalgic memories with Broken Sword Shadow or the Templars Director's Cut plus some other titles.

My next retro project...

The 40 year old Amstrad CPC 464, with its distinctive green and blue keys and extraordinary length due to its built in tape drive.

I purchased this recently, which was advertised as for parts or spares and untested, so looking forward to seeing what works and how it will look when cleaned up.

I love my phone lock screen, obviously wanted to go with a retro gaming view and the Simon the Sorcerer box art, the classic point and click adventure still holds a special place in my nostalgic heart.

I'm really puzzled by people saying Apple is betting on the app store to make the Vision Pro a success, "just like they did with the iPhone".

They didn't do that at all with the iPhone. It didn't even have an app store at first.

The iPhone had multiple killer features right from the start. It was incredibly useful without installing anything from a 3rd party.

#Doom today celebrates its 30th anniversary for the North American release.

The impact of Doom can't be understated due to its legacy for first person shooters, the mod community that formed around the series and online multiplayer.

My first time was enjoying the shareware release of the first episode. My 486 DX2 66MHz DOS PC came alive and my jaw dropped. With a rocking soundtrack, environments full of atmosphere and weapons that were wonderfully brutal.
