some OpenAI lawsuit is going down and this person just got served with papers and they mention Mastodon by name and that you are forbidden to delete your content while under investigation
regardless of the situation I think this is the first I have seen Mastodon mentioned in this sort of legal context
The fact that the official @Mastodon account nor @Gargron has made a single announcement about this spam wave feels so very bizarre to me. This is affecting a HUGE part of the fediverse in a really serious way and the mitigations against it need to be TALKED ABOUT!

US coin change is really strange, the bank that I have will not take it unless its wrapped in paper, so I have now spent the last few hours counting pennies and putting them in these paper sleeves. I deposited 95$ of change yesterday and they gave me a big pile of new paper tubes which I am guessing they are mandated to give out for free.

if you are not using @phanpy as your main #fediverse client you are seriously missing out. It is absolutely the most well thought out and slick interface. I started using it on mobile as well and its probably the slickest PWA I have ever tried.
