Asahi Linux (Fedora 40) installed on my M1 Air.

I ordered two Flight of the Conchords t-shirts today because they were both on sale and I couldn’t decide.

App idea: A todo app where you estimate your todos with story points and importance. The app learns how many points you can fit into a single day (maybe also checking how free your calendar is) and distributes your list over the coming days and weeks.

@daniel maybe it needs to monitor the internet to look for particularly distracting memes and/or posts and then estimates when you’ll see it.

MainActor.run is almost never the right solution. You want to define your isolation statically on the type, via a global actor annotation.

Dynamic isolation is an escape hatch, and it should set off alarm bells every time.

    TIL It’s not possible to transfer money between bank accounts in the US. This feels like one of those ‘lobbyists bribed politicians to make the customer experience worse so they can sell an unnecessary solution’ things.

    Edit: I did not foresee this being such a thing. Please stop explaining banking systems, I think I now know in minute detail exactly where this post is and isn’t completely accurate. Thank you.

    @RobW when I moved to Europe it blew my mind how easy it is to transfer between bank accounts. Especially, when I would go to a pub and they had their bank details posted behind the bar, so you could pay your tab via transfer.
