Polyterra PLA at 205/65, Ender 3 with Biqu H2 V2S. Models with large bottom surface warp off the (new) textured PEI bed at corners.

Tried, didn't fix:

  • thorough cleaning with dish soap and IPA

  • bed from 60 to 70C

  • plenty of squish

  • 210-215 hotend temp

  • first layer is at 0.7mm width (I use a 0.6 nozzle as default), 20mm/s

  • fan is off for the first layer

  • mouse ears at corners

  • PEO sheet

I don't other issues with adhesion, even small parts.

Any other tips? Thanks!

@stooovie recently I watched Today's 3D Print where Nerys faced similar issues with his "Building Bocks". Even changes to the model won't work cause a some scale the force of the plastic becomes so high during cooling of the layers that it shrinks itself from the bed 😧

He was able to handle the warping issues using "Vision Miner Nano Polymer" adhesive. Maybe that also works for you.

What kind of model are you printing 🙂?

Ohh I missed that so hard 😆

I switched to couple month ago on my private laptop and as a longtime user I love to use the [superkey] to overview all windows. Finally I got this to work in KDE😍

Just use the following 2 commands.

~$: kwriteconfig5 --file ~/.config/kwinrc --group ModifierOnlyShortcuts --key Meta "org.kde.kglobalaccel,/component/kwin,org.kde.kglobalaccel.Component,invokeShortcut,Overview"

~$: qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin reconfigure

Found my 3D printed shower 🚿 shelf in my shower this morning 😄 Seems that my super double sided sticky tape does not like massive temperature drop which happens when I open the window during winter time 🤷 Anyhow this showed me that the hexagon infill was to weak, so let's try something else 😉

On may back home from @unkonf and my train is not cancelled until know 🎉 woohoo 🙌

Today was a blast🤩 I was so cool to see so many php-buddies again after such a long time ☺️ This combined with the cool talks and making new connections made my day perfect.

Kann so ein fancy Wifi-LED-Strip (z. B. von Wiz) eigentlich problemlos an einem Trafo plus Stromkabel betrieben werden, oder muss meistens das Netzteil in die Steckdose? Würde es gern an der Decke anbringen und auch per Lichtschalter schaltbar machen.

@heiglandreas @mattsches dass stimmt 👍 Ohne Strom kein WiFi. Die Shelly's kann ich da auch empfehlen hab da auch mehrere von im Einsatz, vor allem wie die L Version auch ohne Neutral Leiter funktioniert 😊.

@bobmagicii oh really? That sounds complicated because then you have to drill holes to fill it or did they don't use top layers? 🤔 Using 100% infill would maybe easier then 😄 But I got your point, it would definitely increase the weight.

Don't actually know if more weight would improve the sub in my case because the driver is only 3" and the enclosure has already a decent weight. So there is not that much vibration which could cause issues 🙂

Your solution sounds way more practical to me, even if I would be afraid to apply goop or anything else semi fluid into something while a print pauses 😬

Let me know if you'll ever try it, I'm curious how this would work out 😊
