Derby weekend in the Premiership kicking off tonight with Bath v Bristol. At half time Bath lead 17-7. Some decent moments from Bris but some pretty dreadful defence as well. Also blown a try scoring opportunity. In truth this is Bath's game to lose. #BATvBRI
@rugby Bristol played much better in the second half but Bath held on to win 20-19. A couple of missed kicks cost Bris. A single bonus point is a poor return for the second half performance but the first half was really costly.
Interesting the ITV commentator there, having a dig at the RFU for allowing Worcester, Jersey, Wasps, and London Irish go bust. It is truly a shame on English #RugbyUnion given the money Twickenham generates. 💰🏉 #RWC2023

Bath fought back hard in the second and came within a whisker of winning. A late penalty and converted try at the death secured the win and denied Bath a second bonus point. Defence was largely optional for both sides.
