I feel like I'm channeling Kefka in saying that I hate, hate, hate the lack of a rear window and the absolute dependency on a camera and a rearview mirror with a screen to see out the back of the vehicle.

@qlp my car has a camera used for the backup camera and one that can display on the mirror.
The backup camera collects water on the lens whenever it rains and becomes nearly useless. I'm grateful for it, but I would hate to rely on it.
the rearview mirror camera also becomes useless in the rain, and additionally messes with night vision and confuses my peripheral vision. I hate it and I'm glad they made the rearview mirror functional without it.
@bengerman While my car doesn't have a digital rearview mirror, it does have a little spray nozzle that I can use to was the lens using the wiper stalk, it still takes time for the water drops to clear out and it's barely usable until then.
Yes, we are talking a lot about @Vivaldi in cars. We are very proud of Vivaldi being available in cars from #Polestar, #Renault, #Volvo, #Audi and #Mercedes-Benz, with #Porsche, #Ford, and #Lincon coming soon, as well as more vehicles from the VW group and a lot more. It is a big deal!
At the same time, what allows us to build a great browser for cars is the effort we put into our desktop and mobile browsers in general. We are upping our efforts there as well!

Man kann den #Polestar 2 auch wirklich, wirklich sparsam fahren. Wie meine Frau. 7,7 kWh/100km auf knapp 30km. Ok, es ging bergab und es wurde viel rekuperiert. Und ich bin nebendran fast wahnsinnig geworden. ;-) Aber es geht!
There was a poll a while back about Pilot Assist holding too far to the right or left. It was interesting to see mixed responses. Some folks agreed while others claimed they hadn’t experienced the issue at all.
I was one of the unlucky ones who experienced a problem on a particular stretch of highway where Pilot Assist would uncomfortably stick to the right side of the lane. However, with update 2.9, I haven’t encountered this problem again on the same stretch of road. It’s worth noting that there haven’t been any documented changes to how Pilot Assist functions, nor any modifications to the road (like repainting the lane markings, for instance).
All in all, I believe the 2.9 update is a significant step in the right direction for the Polestar 2. It’s great to see the company actively working on improving the driving experience. Kudos to the development team!

Just upgraded my #Polestar#Polestar2 to P2.11, which includes…a setting for disabling the (gets my phone crazy hot, because Apple+Qi I guess) wireless charging pad in the console! 🙌🏻
Considering I have to plug my phone in for CarPlay anyways, that was always irritating. Now I can keep my phone in that spot right side up 🤣 #FirstWorldProblems
