One aspect of #apple abandoning their car project that I’m curious to watch is they’re following Ford, VW and a bunch of other companies effectively declaring level 5 self driving to be impossible. Waymo seems to be the last real contender vying for this crown but it’s been a slog.
However #tesla has a stock price entirely based on the belief that not only can they deliver that technology, but that they can do so soon. I wonder if investors will start to look at the lack of progress by Tesla in this space and revalue the company as what it is, which is a boutique car company like Lotus or Ferrari.
