I realize I'm shouting into the void, but I'll say it again: El Niño is not the cause of every extreme weather and climate event. El Niño does not have time travel capability to cause events that started in February when El Niño only emerged in June and has (as is typical) taken a little while to couple to the atmosphere. 😱 #Climate
