Left to our own devices we're not that smart.

But the PR industry has managed to make us do improbable things, like buy a cybertruck, go massively for cabbage patch dolls (remember those?), crocs, and torn jeans. If harnessed property by the climate action people, I'm sure they can get us to do the right thing.
