metin,

From late 1995 to early 1997 I co-created a Windows platform game called Moon Child.

The game's last world was a hectic, psychedelic grand finale, featuring a fast-paced soundtrack by our composer Ramon Braumuller.

The Moon Child game, all audio tracks and more can be found here, for free:

TCD,

@metin Cool music :) Never played that Amiga demo. Will give it a try in the next days.

metin,

@TCD Thanks! I still regret we couldn't afford to finish the AGA Amiga version at the time. Commodore had just exploded in 1994, and the publisher we found demanded a Windows reboot of the game.

The demo is very preliminary. There is no real gameplay yet. Just the ability to run around, but it does feature Hoi as a sidekick. We dropped that concept after the Windows reboot.

TCD,

@metin I understand :) I 'moved on' in 1994 myself. The Amiga was a great machine, but in 1994 (even before CBM went under) there was no point in hoping for it to get better again.

Before I grab it somewhere, is there a legal way of getting the PC version? I don't have an iPhone.

metin,

@TCD A complete CD-ROM image of the original Windows 95/98 game can be downloaded from the Archive:

https://archive.org/details/MoonChildGame

The CD-ROM image file includes a patch for Windows 10 and a text file with some instructions.

TCD,

@metin Perfect :) Thank you!
