The Gripen would suit Ukraine nicely. Fighting the Russian air force in a highly contested airspace was the role it was built for.
Doesn't need big airbases, just a straight bit of asphalt road out in the countryside.

@AndersGottlieb @nordicnews We've got like 70 in the Air Force currently. I'd say lend as many as Ukraine can use. Have Norway, Denmark etc help out covering our airspace if needed.

Denmark had 43 f-16, where 30 are operational. I don't know how many norway has?

@anderspuck Would it be possible that Denmark and Norway should cover Swedens airspace for a longer period?
