@decryption From what I’ve experienced with client sites at work, reCaptcha is far from perfect and just stems the flow of email address validation a little bit. I suspect the advent of AI is making the task of overcoming reCaptcha in a non-human way more trivial.
@decryption I'm behind on online security, obviously - how did your form allow them to launder emails? Was it checking that the addresses were correct, or something else?
