Just rode my e-bike to brunch in the rain and wind at 7C/45F. Biking is just the most convenient and fastest option for getting places in Amsterdam 90% of the time. Why think or plan or pay money when you can just get on your bike and be there in a small predictable time? But I do need to figure out where my finger-full gloves went ASAP

@vaurora my limited experience of biking in the netherlands is, the wind almost always comes from the front. Did that change?
Well you have an e-bike so that helps

@MarioBus that's actually true everywhere. "No matter the direction you're riding in the wind is always from the front" is the first rule of cycling. The second one being "it never gets easier, you only start to go faster". :)

@vaurora the only way to find your gloves is to buy a new pair. And having multiple pairs of different levels of warmth are a great idea. I have a literal glove box for my cycling gloves. Everything from about -5° to +43°C (I always wear some form of gloves)
