@futurebird Yep, "dry" style salons, I learned about those just as I finished my second year (and left the biz to have my kid). No cuts or colours, just the washing, drying and styling. At least one guy in my class moved to Sydney to work at one and makes pretty good money. Lot less hair to sweep up, too, lol

@futurebird my friends who lived for years in the country arrived in my city, their city too but it had been a while, and were convinced that Curves, no other description, had to be a brothel
