Because I recently posted Wildeboer’s third theorem. Here’s the second. Being “against” something is satisfying but a cheap cop-out. Being “against” doesn’t solve anything at all. It does not offer a way forward. It doesn’t do anything. Building solutions that solve the real question comes with the risk of being wrong or misunderstood. But many that are “against” see any proposal of a solution as an attack. Don’t define yourself by problems. Define yourself on solutions. Even if they fail.

@jwildeboer I see a few people on Mastodon who are very 'against' certain technologies. Those technologies may be abused, but may still have valid uses.
