Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to Sunday, a day of rest. Hence, MrsD, Wesley and myself are heading off to a 6 mile hike in the hills. Whatever you do today, have fun, and laughs. Plus, I hope it's less strenuous than our plans!
Today's random photo is a weird looking one from March 2019 when MrsD was in New Zealand. It's a night shit of a Kiwi taken under a red light. (But not that sort of red light! 😉)
We suspected as much to be honest. £11 for two courses of a roast dinner was a bit of a giveaway. However, we didn't organise the location and there's not many places to eat there anyway.
If we walk that area again, then a flask of soup and some sarnies will be the order of the day!

Soup's a good idea, shame though that you have to consider it.
Luckily we haven't had many bad experiences, the only one was at at restaurant that had just changed hands and was still relying in the reputation of its predecessors.

Love a good thick soup. The thickest one my wife does is sweetcorn & potato; you can almost stand the spoon up in it (so not ideal for a flask).
Hopefully, they'll learn from the rush and improve.
@Steampunk_Prof It's thick. You can walk on it and leave footprints! Also, it would be better without the leeks, but MrsD likes them, so they go in everything! Leeks and custard anyone? 😐
