Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Thursday. It's chilly again, currently -3°C but later in, it's going to be a balmy 1°C. We better wrap up warmly.
Mind you, around Leeds the roads have been well gritted, mostly. The pavements not even touched. As usual 😟. Around here they are about a couple of centimeters deep in uneven ice. Dangerous!
Take extra care going out, if you have to,btiday. Stay safe and warm. Make time for fun though.

@Steampunk_Prof I think you might be right. I haven't seen a mammoth in Yorkshire since I got here in 1996. Saw one in La Brea though. Quite a lot actually!

@Steampunk_Prof It was a very interesting day out, yes. In fact, of the whole holiday, it was my best day. The grand canyon thing is vastly overrated -- it's just a big hole in the ground! 😉. Looks like the foundations have been dug, then everyone went off somewhere else. It'll be nice when it's finished tough! 😁
@Steampunk_Prof Someone on a mule going down had to hold on tight as the mule bucked. Their backpack fell over the side. When they asked if they could go and get it, they were advised against it.
Me? I've fallen off a horse. On flat ground, on a narrow ledge down that canyon? The words "get thee hence from this place" spring to mind! 🤢
