You have to have an account on the flohmarkt server to offer something, but you can react from any fediverse software.
It was very easy to create an account and to write my offer. The only problem is that if you forget the picture before putting it online, you can't change that; editing seems only possible for the text.

shame it took me a while to find this thread. favs don't have any meaning in flohmarkt yet. i don't see the use in having just a display of how many people liked it (correct me if you do). i thought about pushing items to the frontpage if they are liked much, but i see the risk of putting a wrong incentive on gaming the system. i want flohmarkt to be a fair experience to everyone. not the one with the most friends who vote for them. looking forward to hear your ideas.
@piko@grindhold Yes, I put zero thought into my question, I just expected there to be some kind of interactivity between the two services because they are connected to the fediverse :) I think displaying the favs on a flohmarkt item would be fun, but in no way useful or necessary.
So, I tried to answer and had problems with the login – even the password reset seemed broken. But a day later, everything worked fine (with the old password... Maybe a server problem?). From the #flohmarkt profile I can see the mastodon answers, and I can also answer to them in two different ways: "send" and "assign". On mastodon, those two look the same. I guess the assign button is for reservation, but I'm not sure and I can't verify it by looking at the listing.
