YouTube has some impressive tools for statistical insight.

Here is a breakdown of my YouTube viewers by country. With my videos being in English, it is no surprise a lot of you are from the US and the UK.

However, I need to figure out how I can get more Swedes and Norwegians to watch my channel, as there are 10 times more more Danes than Swedes.

Also, I wonder how much my English is a barrier to Germans, as there are 10 times more US than German viewers.

If you have any input, I am all ears.

avatastic,

@randahl Can you supply subtitles for each of the low visitor number languages you want to improve, or does YouTube only allow mono-lingual subtitles?

No idea if it actually helps, but you never specified useful input ... ;-)

@avatastic yes, I believe I can — technically.

But practically it is another matter. While there are good tools for making the subtitles, I still spend some hours improving them, because the AI is not good enough.

Imagine doing that for, say, 5 languages. Not to mention, I would have to know the languages, or pay a translator.

avatastic,

@randahl Paying a translator is the way to do it, if it's not something you can do yourself, or don't have the time to do yourself.

AI transcription is poor to mediocre at best, adding translation on top of that is going to end up an unreadable mess.
