Near Kharkiv, Putin's forces are expanding south but at huge cost. Yesterday Ukraine eliminated 1510 soldiers and their 48 armored vehicles and 11 tanks.

Losing 1510 soldiers per day to take small settlements which do not even have 1510 citizens is a really bad deal.

During the night, Ukraine has successfully bombed the Belbek military airbase in occupied Crimea. Several explosions were heard, and multiple fires have broken out.

Earlier satellite images show, Russia had a large number of aircraft at the airbase, and Ukraine may also have targeted weapons depots.

The attack will likely have required the newly supplied long range ATACMS.

Bad news for Trump:

Michael Cohen's testimony went so well, the prosecution has told judge Merchan, he will be the last witness.

Originally, they had planned for more witnesses to be called, likely as a backup plan if the Cohen cross examination did not go well.

But now Trump's time is running out. No more screaming in front of the press. No more social media whining. Closing arguments are coming and then sentencing.

Just as you thought the Putin regime could not go any lower… In Russia, there is now a proposal to perform checks of a person's sexuality, so as to prevent the hiring of gays in the public sector — in a country where the state dominates many industries.

And the state tv debate is not about why this is wrong, but about how to reveal homosexuality most effectively.

If you thought Mike Johnson’s words outside the court sounded like a Trump script, that is no coincidence. Trump just admitted it to to the press.

Journalist: “Are you directing surrogates to speak on your behalf?”

Trump: “I do have a lot of surrogates, and they are speaking very beautifully.”

This can potentially become a problem for Trump, as the gag order EXPLICITLY states, Trump is not allowed to direct others to make the attacks he himself is not allowed to.

Mike Johnson drags his own speakership through the mud by appearing at Trump's trial, substituting for Trump by attacking the judge’s daughter — something Trump has been barred from doing.

Instead of admitting, the Republicans have nominated a criminal, he now threatens to take action against people in the legal system.

When Johnson goes down with the sinking ship, no one should feel any pity. Lawmakers who do not believe in law and order, have no place in government.

In its revised national budget, Norway will increase its defence spending with NOK 13 billion. A total of NOK 6 billion are for Ukraine alone — that is 46 percent of the entire Norwegian military budget increase.

Euromaidan is a Ukrainian name for the series of demonstrations that led to the Ukrainian revolution, which resulted in the removal of the Putin friendly president Viktor Yanukovych in 2014.

Do you have a credible source which documents how this protest movement was somehow a Nazi movement?

I have never heard that claim before. Ever.

Brilliant proposal by German politicians: Let us place air defence systems inside NATO, and have these systems save civilian lives by shooting down missiles over western Ukraine.

This is pretty clever because

  1. Russia cannot bomb these systems as that would be an act of war against the entire NATO alliance.

  2. The systems cannot trigger a war with Russia themselves, as they are not attacking Russia.

"Pay with cash" — those words were said by Trump, recorded by Michael Cohen, and played back in front of the jury in the trial. And from the recorded conversation it was clear, this was Trump directing Cohen to pay Karen McDougal with cash, so it would be untraceable.

Both Estonia and France are now ready to send troops to Ukraine as part of a coalition of the willing. These will not be frontline combat troops, but will carry out other tasks such as training in western Ukraine, freeing up more of Ukraine's own forces.

The Münster appellate court has ruled, the German AfD party is an extremist organisation. This allows for security service surveillance and infiltration of the organisation.

This comes after multiple AfD related Russian influence scandals, and as there is just one month to the EU parliamentary elections, this ruling could certainly influence voters.
