@carrottop1023 I live with someone who thinks the contents of everyone else’s phones are their personal business, and they have been known to snatch my phone out of my lap, or out of my hands even. Do that again, and your hearing might not recover for a while.
@evilcookies98 Good grief. Your information is yours, not anyone elses. I would suggest you have your phone locked in such a way that they would not be able to figure the pass key or, if you have FaceID available, that should also be used, if possible.
@carrottop1023 I don’t use an iPhone as my main phone anymore. I have the passcode and biometric set up, but their favorite times to snatch things include when I’m trying to watch videos. I found this gorgeous little app on the play store that will set off a shrieking alarm if your phone is moved.
@carrottop1023 they just think they’re entitled to everyone’s personal information. They have my name is on a piece of paper so everyone’s life is my business syndrome.
@carrottop1023 i’ve been looking for something like that for years. It will also help when I go out of state this fall. If somebody were to steal my phone out of my pocket, they would suddenly feel 80,000 pairs of eyes boring into their soul from the shrieking alarm.
@carrottop1023 it also has pocket removal detection, so if someone tries to steal it, guess what happens to them? It will also take a photo of anyone who tries to unlock your phone with the wrong passcode, which, I presume, includes you screwing it up yourself.
@evilcookies98 I dont' thinkk so either, Apple is very tight with their security for their users, Androyed is less secure, it's like Windows, you have to use an anti virus and other anti-mellware software to prevent your device from being used against you.
@carrottop1023 what Apple claims is to protect us is just a hindrance most of the time. They don’t let us customize stuff that is in there to be customized just because they don’t want us to.
@carrottop1023 it’s honestly not fair to the User. These devices are our digital home so to speak. With your normal home, you can do whatever to make yourself comfortable. Apple wants to put you in one of those crappy college dorms.
@carrottop1023 I have the seven Pro. If you don’t need the absolute latest of everything, the seven series might be a little bit easier on the bank account. The seven a is the budget model, then there’s a standard seven, then the seven Pro. You could even go back another year if you don’t mind a year or less of updates.
