I wish more companies had tech support like @beasts - problem resolved in minutes, clear explanation of what was broken, how to avoid the problem in the future, and info for follow-up. No scripts, no escalation, no call centre. So good.

@LewisWorkshop @beasts I would add: not starting by blaming the customer, which is what most companies do (even when it's a 500 Server Error!)

Strictly speaking, I can't personally recommend @beasts technical support for the simple reason that nothing has gone wrong with their service, so I've never actually needed technical support...

Don't get me wrong, @beasts have been very helpful and answered questions quickly and competently.
They just appear to have decided that the easiest way to avoid needing a call centre of people to deal with folk reporting problems is to run a reliable service at a reasonable price and not bother having the problems in the first place.

That works for me.
