The heartbreaking self sacrifice by Aaron Bushnell has shook my entire family to our cores. Especially my Mom & big Auntie. Big Auntie was severely shook & is in hospital again because she suffered cardiac attack from hearing & seeing what happened. My big Auntie didn't witness Duc burning himself alive in Saigon because she was still working in ICU at hospital when it happened. My youngest Aunt & Uncle both witnessed multiple live suicides against USA before they were teens.
Duc, Buddhist monk, burning himself to death, in downtown Saigon - busiest intersection at the time, wasn't a random act of mental illness. It was a longtime planned conscious protest & the ultimate sacrifice. For Westerners, this was very difficult to understand & most Westerners don't understand this type of community sacrifice well because Westerners have colonial minds.
Some of us non-Westerners don't speak #ForkedTongues. We will sacrifice ourselves for greatest good. I'm not ready, yet.

@pippa Both Aunties are in same hospital - just in different rooms & floors. I'm going to ask if it's possible to move them into shared room. That would be better for them & also reduce my time/energy on visits. Going there in 5 minutes.
I have another somatic therapy session at noon. One of my friends gave me their house key so I can use their hottub for easing sore muscles & body tension, in the afternoon.
@msquebanh I was just wondering how you were all doing! Hopefully the hospital is amenable to getting the aunties into a room together. And bless that friend who gave you their key! Relaxing in a hot tub sounds like a really good idea 🥹💙

Please understand - we'd never want to inflict equal or worse punishments on you. In fact - one of the only punishments we all agreed on was forcing war criminals to do all repairing work & denounce USA.
