Wings!
Fyi, to reheat thick frozen yet want-to-be-crispy things like eggrolls, do the non-air setting (if available) until they're thawed, then crisp the outside in airfry mode.
@Saltssaltgirl Besides the usual (French fries, frozen foods, grilled cheese sammy, reheating pizza) there are yummy recipes out there for things like chicken parmesan, coconut shrimp , garlic mushrooms, broccoli bites, and fish that are easy to make. And I love to make roasted asparagus made in it.
@Saltssaltgirl literally everything that you can fit in it. All stars for me have been onion rings and fries obv. But also pizza leftovers, chicken wings, broccoli, sweet potato, spring rolls, arancini, souvlaki, garlic bread. Sky’s the limit.
Always wanted a top down broiler, but had those bottom/small shelf under oven broilers which I found useless and impossible to gauge correctly. The Air Fryer serves my needs for broil/grill for fast hot crispiness
boneless chicken thighs = 400 for 23 minutes (marinated)
trip tip roast (salted in fridge) = 400 for 25/30 minutes
pork chops (salted in fridge) = 400 for 18/23 minutes
baked potatoes = 375 for 1 hr
hot dogs = 7-9 minutes
chicken wings = 375 for 30
@Saltssaltgirl anything frozen is great! Fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks (5-7min). Basically anything you want really, just some cooking times can be tricky with things like steak, chicken breasts
Only joking! Fries are the best. Roast potatoes don't work properly for some reason. I've made homemade crisps that were fantastic! I've just realised everything I'm suggesting is potato-based. Buffalo cauliflower wings are a good shout, although a bit messy. I, like many others, love my air fryer and am a total airfryer bore. Good luck!
Made these mad helix things that came out well but I stupidly didn't get an 'after' pic and they basically vanished as soon as the kids came in. The crisps were great (I think I did garlic powder and nooch, so they were like cheese and onion), but my mandolin is broken so I sliced them BY HAND - which was stupid and super labour-intensive and not at all worth the effort. You also have to treat them with a lot of love and gently shuffle them about for ages. But if you're not doing stupid unnecessary food, it's so quick!
