@nikki The people who claim it is somehow wrong to not federate with Threads also tend to be the people who think it is somehow MORALLY wrong to block entire instances.
@WhyNotZoidberg I get that some folk have things to promote and want the widest audience, but I'm more concerned with having a nice mastodon time, I have @QuantumWitch for my game stuff
@nikki@QuantumWitch I just think it's such a weird mindset to think an admin does something inherently wrong if they block an instance. My mental response is "dude (they're mostly men) you are on the wrong social platform!"
@WhyNotZoidberg@nikki the curious thing? They can switch to another instance... But noooooo, they have to complain on the ones that don't want to be a part of whatever Threads does.
