@pezmico Can we at least do our best then, to create a world where being able to stay home when sick/ill isn't a privilege for the higher class anymore, and instead a universal human right?? 🙏
The number one lesson people should take from the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic is that the policysetters do not have your personal interests at heart, that they view you in an adversarial nature, and that if tricking you into harming yourself, your family, or your community is to their interests they will do it. These people are not your friends.
@noyes@msquebanh@pezmico This x1000! Feel fortunate to have found immunologists and virologists to follow online. Ignored the govt agencies and private entities that mostly seemed intent on marching us to our doom in the name of economics and partisan politics.
I know most people would rather not think about it, but we need to acknowledge that, since we decided to let covid spread uncontrolled, a significant and growing portion of the population is now walking around with compromised immune systems.
Common illnesses are now more dangerous than they used to be. We should act accordingly.
This is what "living with the virus" actually means.
