@majorlinux it really is. so many have looked away, ignored issues for their comfort, lived the ‘ignorance is bliss’ life, that they actually do have very little understanding or knowledge. I’m often shocked at how clueless some people actually are, who are otherwise intelligent. They have the capacity to understand, but not the capacity to care. It has created such a massive gulf in understanding that it’s hard to even have dialogue with them, they are so far behind.

@JoBlakely It's still something that I think about.

I wonder if I'd care this much if I wasn't made so uncomfortable in the first place when I lost my job.

There was nothing in my way to shield me from the atrocities and learning more about how we got here.

Now, I wonder if I could ever return knowing what I know.

@majorlinux Reminds me of the Vietnam war protests. We were all groomed by communists then. For this generation, the war against people in Gaza is their Vietnam.

@majorlinux Very sad. Also just the ongoing hypocrisy of who is allowed to speak and who isn't. American Neo-Nazi talking hate? Yes, come to our campus. Students protesting war crimes and genocide...no that's disruptive and threatening.
