Maybe contemplating what to do with Bright Angel? My wild guess is that it will be abandoned as being too risky.
The path upwards toward the rim doesn't look easy either. Not down where it is now, but further up; there are large areas of loose regolith, guessing by how they look in the HiRISE imagery. But IANAG.
@65dBnoise I'd have to agree re abandoning Bright Angel unless they can spot a very safe path a little further to the West. Loose sands are not happy places for Mars rovers or their drivers.
