What is the best way to commission art? I want like a logo or banner type thing for setting up a blog. You know something basic but much better than I can draw.
First and foremost though I’ll need to save up some money. This kind of thing I absolutely understand could be a few hundred bucks.
Ehhh I guess. Midjourney probably does a much better job than the free ones. Everything looks so samey and kind of bland with the free generators (if they don’t have like fucked up hands or something).
@archliberal I've used Midjourney for design work like creating frames and borders for page layouts, and even though it requires a bit of cleanup in Photoshop, it works pretty well. You can prompt it like "on white background, a steampunk-stile frame with lots of filigree and small mechanical details," and it'll spit out exactly that.
I don't think A.I. will replace designers, but it will make designers faster and more productive.
